Milan Will Play With Werder Bremen in The UEFA Cup

Italian giants AC Milan will face Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup as they continue in their quest to win the only European trophy that has so far eluded them.

Milan have been European champions seven times and has won two Cup Winners’ Cups and five Super Cups – and the UEFA Cup is the only major title that Continental had not yet claim.

The draw in Nyon also saw defending champions Zenit St Petersburg will face another German side in the form of Stuttgart.

Meanwhile, the three remaining English sides enjoyed contrasting fortunes with the City of Manchester handed a tie against Danish side FC Copenhagen.

However, Aston Villa and Tottenham have been difficult to Eastern Europe with opponents in front of Villa CSKA Moscow – the only team to win all their remaining four games of skill – while Spurs take on Shakhtar Donetsk.

A victory for the two Premier League sides face each other for a place in the quarterfinals.

The winners of each qualifying group will face teams who finish third, while the second position the club take on those parties who descends from the Champions League.
